General Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for NLA training programs, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a citizen of Nepal
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
- Must possess a valid citizenship certificate
- Basic Training: Minimum SEE/SLC or equivalent
- Intermediate Training: Minimum +2 / Intermediate or equivalent
- Advanced Training: Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Library Science or related field
- Candidates with relevant work experience in libraries will be given preference
- Currently working or aspiring to work in library and information science
- Library professionals, information managers, archivists, and students are encouraged to apply
- Government and community library workers are especially welcome
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Copy of citizenship certificate
- Copy of highest education certificate
